The Canute Trojanettes and the Kelton, TX Lions Junior Varsity and Varsity teams battled on Tuesday, September 12. The Trojanettes and the Lions showed equal skill in the first round. The Trojanettes won the first out of the three rounds with a very close score 26-24.

The Eagles challenge the Blue Devils on August 8. The Blue Devils send out #55 Alex Kennedy, #15 Dayton Bartlett, #4 Eathan Fenning, and #74 Sam Lindsey on the field for the coin toss. The Eagles send #70 Wyatt Gearhart and #22 Christian Eakins out on the field.

The Trojanettes battled the Bearcats in Canute on Thursday, September 7, in three volleyball games. Canute Junior High Trojanettes played the first game. They play the best two out of three periods. The Bearcats won the first period, scoring 7 points to Trojanettes 0.

The Blue Devils elementary football team challenged the Sayre Eagles in Sayre on Monday, September 11. The Eagles received the ball in the first half, and marched down the field scoring their first touchdown of the year. The Eagles unsuccessfully elected to go for the two point conversion.

The Cordell Blue Devils was unable to stop The Granite Panthers defense. The Blue Devils scored the first run of the softball game played August 15th. The next few innings both teams played great defense holding the scores to minimum.

Friday night football kick-off time delayed

Due to the extreme heat advisory, Cordell Schools has adjusted the scheduled start time for Friday night’s high school game against the Sayre Eagles. Kick-off will begin at 8:00 p.m., August 25th, at Cordell Blue Devil Stadium.
