Please allow me to begin by saying I am not totally for nor am I totally against medical marijuana in Oklahoma. Rather, I hope to point out some inconsistencies I have seen in regard to this “medicine.”

Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) will host its 2020-21 academic year Family Day (formerly known as Parents Day) and Homecoming during the Spring 2021 semester due to ongoing restrictions in place related to the outbreak and spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Cordell Christian Home Remains Healthy After Employee Recovers

The Cordell Christian Home recently experienced its first staff member testing positive for COVID-19, but Administrator Gayle Wilcox says: “We are all negative now.” Wilcox emphasized, “We are following the guidelines set out by the Center for Disease Control.” She said the person testing positive was not in direct contact with any other resident. Wilcox explained, “All the families were notified by a personal phone call from me.

Local Covid-19 Update

The number of people in Washita County testing positive for COVID-19 stands at 46 and that’s an increase of only six in the last 3 ½ weeks. These are the numbers as provided by the Oklahoma State Health Department through Monday of this week.

Very well mannered, intelligent, loves playing fetch & playing in the water. Age not known, but guessing elderly due to the look of his teeth. If this is your dog he is missing you!
