EAGLES WIN HOMECOMING GAME AGAINST THE DEVILS

The Eagles challenge the Blue Devils on August 8. The Blue Devils send out #55 Alex Kennedy, #15 Dayton Bartlett, #4 Eathan Fenning, and #74 Sam Lindsey on the field for the coin toss. The Eagles send #70 Wyatt Gearhart and #22 Christian Eakins out on the field. The Blue Devils won the coin toss and elected to receive the ball in the first half. #12 Dakota Weese lead the charge on the field for the eagles. Harlee Taylor #8 lead the charge on the field for the Blue Devils. The Devils offense marched the ball down the field falling just short of scoring a touchdown. The Eagles threw an interception, it was caught by #8 Harlee Taylor of the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils were unable to capitalize of the interception. Chris Carter #15 caught a 53 yard touchdown pass, scoring the first of the game for the Eagles. The Eagles attempted the extra point and missed. The Blue Devils fumbled the ball and #74 Adrin Acosta of the Eagles recovered it. #66 JR Plaza ran a 3 yards for a touchdown scoring the second touchdown of the game for the Eagles. The Eagles successfully attempted the extra point bringing the score Eagles 13 Blue Devils 0. Harlee Taylor #8 of the Blue Devils took a leap of faith jumping over a pile of players running it in for a touchdown. The Devils successfully go for the 2 point conversion. That brings the score to Eagles 13 and the Blue Devils 8. #66 JR Plaza runs in another 21 yard touchdown for the Eagles. The Eagles score another 20 yard touchdown pass in the fourth. The final score of the game was Eagles 33 to the Blue Devils 8.
