Cordell FD receives generous donation

The Cordell Volunteer Firefighters Association recently received a donation of $7,500 from Plains Pipeline. The funds will be used to purchase a new, more modern pump for a brush truck. The new pump will replace an inadequate and outdated pump.

Holiday shopping is right around the corner! The Christmas Bazaar will be held in the Washita County Activity Center on Saturday and Sunday, December 3rd from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and 4th from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Plenty of time to prepare yourself for the merrymaking and vendors that await.

Braxton Driskill, a Junior from Clinton, was selected to represent Corn BIble Academy in the 2024 All-OkMEA Mixed All-State Chorus. This prestigious choir will meet and perform at the Annual Oklahoma Music Educators Conference in Tulsa in January.
