On January 9, 2024 Washita County voters will decide whether or not to continue the allocation of 1.25% of the County’s sales tax in support of several not-for-profit entities. Currently, the 1.25% is split as follows: 40.0% to the Washita County Justice Center, 20.

The local American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) Clinical Skills Competition was held on October 26 and 27. SWOSU School of Pharmacy had eight teams competing comprised of two students each, with representation from third-year and fourth-year students.
