Leo Goeringer has announced his intent to re-file for County Commissioner of District 2 when the filing period begins April 3, 2024. Goeringer began serving as County Commissioner for District 2 in January 2009.
During Goeringer’s tenure, he has served as the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, Chairman of the Board of Tax Roll Corrections of Washita County, Chairman of the Washita County Public Facility Authority, a committee member of the Local Emergency Planning Committee of Washita County, and as a board member of SWODA.
“My goal is to always serve the citizens of District 2 to the best of my ability and to make decisions that are best for the County as a whole. I feel that I have handled all decisions and challenges fairly and will continue to do so in the future. I look forward to continuing to serve the citizens of District 2 as your County Commissioner. I am humbly asking for your continued support for another 4 years,” said Goeringer.
