Jodi Jackson is the junior high Life Skills, 8th grade reading and Spanish 1 and 2 teacher. Mrs. Jackson has gotten to see her three children prosper through Cordell Schools and now enjoys helping her students flourish. Mrs. Jackson encourages her students to be kind to themselves and to others.

This week our Cordell Blue Devil Student Spotlight is Emma’Leigh Holman. Emma is a sports addicted, mac & cheese loving fifth grader at Cordell Elementary. Emma has never met a stranger, just a friend she hasn’t spoken to yet. Emma is an older sister and tries to always be a good role model.

On Friday, Feb. 4, at 4:58 p.m. Cordell Fire Department (CFD) responded to a structure fire at Dazed and Confused Cannabis Company located at 122 N Glenn English in Cordell. CFD sent out two engines and two brush trucks to begin containing the fire.

Sentinel Structure Fire

Tuesday evening, Jan. 25, Sentinel reported a structure fire at 7:00. Cordell, rocky, Burns Flat-Dill City fire departments all went to assist. Due to their quick response, the fire was contained to a shed in the backyard with no damage to the home.
