Washita Co. Commissioners minutes

Now on the 20th day of March 2023, the County Commissioners in and for Washita County met in regular session with Chairman Goeringer calling the meeting to order. Chairman Goeringer asked Kristen Dowell, County Clerk, for roll call.

CHARLOTTE’S WEB OPENS FRIDAY

The Legacy at The Opera House’s performance run of E.B. White’s beloved children’s classic Charlotte’s Web starts Friday, March 31st.

Easter Cantata scheduled for Sunday evening

The Cordell Ministerial Alliance Community Choir will present an Easter cantata at Bible M.B. Church on Sunday evening, April 2nd, at 5:00 p.m. Six different churches will be represented in a choir of 30 singers. The choir has been practicing since February.

Grant received by Senior Center

Cordell Senior Citizens Center recently received an incredibly generous grant from Oklahoma Initiative Fund, a component fund of Communities Foundation of Oklahoma (CFO), in the amount of $15,000.00. Phil Kliewer completed the application process and procured the grant on behalf of the Center.
