Frances Irene Bryan was born Oct. 24, 1932, to John Givens Lowell and Zola Mae Masters at Cloud Chief, and passed away on April 11, 2020, at the Clinton Therapy & Living Center in Clinton at the age of 87. She grew up in Cloud Chief, where she attended all 12 years of school.

Wynona June Holman, 85, of Rocky, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2020, at the Cordell Christian Home. She was born on June 28, 1934, to Alvin and Elsie (Elliott) Dobbs in Gotebo. June grew up and attended school in Port and Rocky.

Leona Sanders, age 88, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 7, 2020. Leona (Bose) Sanders was born Nov. 26, 1931 to parents John and Freda (Stehr) Bose of Bessie.

Joan Ellen Ridling 80, of Sentinel

Joan Ellen (Carter) Ridling was born Feb. 10, 1940 to N.G. and Anita Carter in Weatherford. Joan, along with her brother Jack and sister Janet began their elementary years at Cowden. Eventually the family moved to Port her eighth grade year.

Betty D. Merrill

Betty D. Merrill, 91, of Cordell, passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 26, 2020, at the Cordell Christian Home. She was born on April 3, 1928, to Fred and Willie (Flowers) Crawford in Hydro. Betty grew up and attended school in Colony.

Mary Fern Woodruff

Mary Fern House Woodruff was born to parents A.G. and Flora (Clancy) House on Jan. 10, 1930. She passed from this life on March 27, 2020, at the age of 90. Mary Fern grew up outside of Carter, where her father farmed and her mother was a homemaker. She was the oldest of four children.

Roberta Maxine Leverton

Roberta Maxine (Russell) Leverton, 89, died on March 27, 2020, in Norman, of Alzheimer’s disease. She was born Feb. 10, 1931, to John and Bessie Russell in a farmhouse near Foss. The youngest of three daughters, she had six brothers.

Margie (Colene) Gatlin, 85, of Yukon, went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 7, 1935, in Reed, to Lillie Mae Boyd and Clifford S. Boyd. Colene was one of four daughters: Francis Collins, Mae Hammock and Robyn Braswell.
