Cordell Chamber gearing up for Bingo Nights

Cordell Chamber of Commerce will once again host its annual Bingo Nights at the Washita County Free Fair. The games will be held on August 24th and 25th starting at 6:00 p.m. at the fair, which will be held at the Washita County Activity Center.

Steel Magnolias cast announced

Steel Magnolias is coming soon to the stage at The Legacy at the Opera House in Cordell. Director Julie K. Barnett says the cast is in place and rehearsals are underway.

Storms leave power outages, damages

After a massive rolling storm system swept through Washita County on Saturday, July 8th, bringing mass amounts of rain and destructive winds, several Cordell residents woke up to damage and fallen trees. Multiple residents reported damaged roofs, fences, cars, and windows.
