Washita County 4-H’er attends National 4-H Congress

There were no leftover Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches or Black Friday shopping for a group of Oklahoma 4-H’ers. Instead, they represented the Oklahoma 4-H Youth Development program at the 103rd National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia.

Legacy at the Opera House Community Theater Christmas production on stage this weekend

Cordell’s Legacy Community Theater will conclude its 2023 season this weekend as they present ‘A Baby Changes Everything’ at the Opera House in Cordell. Show times will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15th, 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16th, and 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17th.

Cordell’s Christmas in the Park will be on December 7th at 6 p.m. The chamber of Commerce will present a HO HO HO Contest judged by Santa himself. Come join the fun! Oh, I almost forgot to say that Santa will be there to visit with the children.
