Now on the 5th day of August 2024, the County Commissioners in and for Washita County met in regular session with Chairman Goeringer calling the meeting to order.Goeringer asked Kristen Dowell, County Clerk, for roll call.

State 4-H Roundup puts club members in the fast lane

Oklahoma 4-H’ers were in the fast lane during the 103rd State 4-H Roundup as they raced from workshops to contests to district rallies and more. More than 600 club members and adults were on the Oklahoma State University campus for the biggest 4-H event of the year.

Waverly Schneberger recently participated in the Purina Honor Show in El Reno. Her Maintainer Heifer was Breed Champion and won overall Reserve Grand Champion Heifer Her Charolais Heifer placed second in class. Waverly is the daughter of Keith and Erin Schneberger.
