“We are thrilled to celebrate Mr. Edge’s achievements and his positive impact on our students,” said Cordell Superintendent Travis Victory. “His passion for music and his commitment to student success are evident. This award is a well-deserved recognition of his hard work and leadership. We are proud to have Mr. Edge as a Blue Devil.”
The Blue Devil Band continues to shine under Mr. Edge’s direction, further securing its reputation for excellence in music. The students’ talent and Mr. Edge’s steady dedication have made the band live up to its name.
Mr. Edge will be formally honored at the OkMEA Annual Conference in Tulsa, set to take place in January 2025. He will join other outstanding educators from across the state in celebrating the importance of music in education.
This recognition celebrates Mr. Edge’s accomplishments and emphasizes the vital role that music educators play in shaping young minds and promoting a love for the arts.
