Southeast Arbuckle: June 24. Elevation normal, water 75 and slightly stained. Largemouth bass good on topwater lures and creature baits at 3-10 ft.in the main lake. Smallmouth bass good on topwater lures early morning and on small bill crankbaits.

Brown Claims Second At Texas Oklahoma Junior Golf Tourney

Cordell golf stand-out Megan Brown continued her winning ways last week, posting up a three-round score of 225 to claim second place at the Texas-Oklahoma Junior Golf Tournament on her new home course in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Local Youth Advances In Golf Event

Local junior golfer Birdie Brown, a sixth-grader at Cordell Elementary, placed third overall and first in putting at the 2020 Drive, Chip, and Putt contest in the 12-13 year old division. She will compete Aug. 1, 2019, at the sub-regional contest in Tulsa.

Code Blue Team Competes At National Event

The team of Haley Larsen, Jacy Bryant, and Madison Donihoo traveled to St. Cloud, Minn., last week to represent Cordell’s Code Blue gym in the finals of the national Granite Games. The team placed 15th out of 53 teams in the competition.

Softball Team Places Second
