BASEBALL As of press time, the Cordell Baseball Boys are 8-4 for the season, 2-2 in district play, with a lot more baseball to look forward to in the next few weeks. Mon, March 29 Hobart 19, Cordell 3 In their first game of the busy week, the Cordell Baseball Boys fell to the Hobart Bearcats.

BASEBALL The Cordell boys baseball team played three games last week, picking up their first loss of the season against Snyder. Despite the loss, the Devils came out of the Shortgrass Conference Tournament as consolation champions.

The Cordell boys baseball team played only one game last week but made it count with a big win over Blair. The boys improved to 4-0 on the season and also topped the Class 2A-District 1 week 3 rankings, coming in ahead of No. 2 Cashion.

Cordell freshman athlete relies on faith, parents for success

Driven by her Christian devotion and supportive parents, freshman Ellie Willard puts her all into everything she does. Willard’s parents, Wayne and Lisa Willard, are not only her No. 1 fans, but also the people that give her the motivation to be herself unapologetically.

BASEBALL The Cordell Blue Devil Baseball team kicked off the season with a bang last Monday and hasn't taken a single loss since. The boys started the season 3-0, entering this week, and hope to continue their winning pattern.

Four Cordell athletes make basketball All-Conference

Two players from each of the Cordell Blue Devil basketball teams were awarded positions on the All-Conference Team. Top Scorers Andrea Palmer and Ellie Willard were the honored players from the Lady Devils team.
