Two fun-filled Saturdays ended on August 29th with the crowning of the 2026 Miss Washita County Royalty at the Cordell School Auditorium. Nearly forty young ladies from across Washita County participated in a delightful afternoon tea party last weekend and showed up again on the final night of the county fair ready to impress the judges during private contestant interviews and put their best look forward for the audience during the onstage pageant.
At the end of the afternoon, the following top contestants were named winners and runners-up: Miss Washita County winner Khloe Vanderpol, 1st Runner- Up Alexis Bailey, and 2nd Runner-Up Virginia Espinoza; Teen Miss Washita County winner Katherine Wright, 1st Runner-Up Ariel Gonzales, and 2nd Runner-Up Cadence Lopez; Junior Miss Washita County winner Georganne Harrison, 1st Runner-Up Anna Vandever, and 2nd Runner-Up Chayah Bliss; Little Miss Washita County Winner Elena Thomsen, 1st Runner-Up Harper Hunt, and 2nd Runner-Up Kaeslyn Ervin; Mini Miss Washita County Grace Williams, and 1st Runner-Up Grace Winingham.
Contestants Abigail Sirmon and Katherine Wright received Outstanding Interview awards, and Chayah Bliss was the Crowd Pleaser Award winner.
Entertainment during the pageant was provided by 2025 Teen Miss Washita County Bailey Gossen and 2025 Junior Miss Washita County Kendallyn Gossen, who wowed the crowd with their beautiful piano playing.
Bailey Gossen also did a wonderful job of emceeing the evening.
