Due to the May 22nd resignation of Board of Education member Mike Reimer, Cordell Public Schools is seeking applicants to fill the vacated seat. Applications are available in the Superintendent’s office at Cordell High School, 606 E. 3rd St.

Many Cordell residents have received a membership packet from Sinor EMS offering ‘$69 Peace of Mind’ by purchasing an ambulance service membership. This mailout leads residents to believe that they will receive ambulance services from Sinor at a reduced rate.

Cordell Pool delays opening, summer kickoff due to weather

Due to weather conditions on Monday, June 12, the Cordell Public Pool (CPP) unfortunately had to reschedule their pool party to Friday, June 16. The summer kickoff party will consist of a midnight swim, free food, and games and prizes. CPP’s regular season hours began on Tuesday, June 13.

Cordell City Council approves budget, makes plans for year

Cordell City Council held their budget hearing and approved the City’s budget for the fiscal year 2023/2024 at their meeting Monday night, June 12th. Dacia Phillips of RSMeacham CPAs was on hand to present financial reports and guide the Council through the proposed budget.
