Washita County 4-H Bean Supper to be held October 23rd

For over four decades, Washita County residents have come together to enjoy the annual 4-H Bean Supper and Carnival. This year’s event is set to take place on Monday, October 23rd at the Washita County Activity Center in Cordell.

One more week to go before the Pumpkin Festival in downtown Cordell. This will be the 36th year for it. The food for the baking contest has to be entered between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. judging will be at 9. On October 8th at 3:45 p.m. at the First Baptist Church the Christmas Cantata practice begins.
