County COVID-19 numbers steady vs. last week

Washita County’s number of new positive COVID-19 cases is barely up over the past week, figures from the Oklahoma State Department of Health show. The total number testing positive in the county is now 1,061. It was 1,057 a week ago, an increase of only four over last week.

Camri Tabor was born in March 2008 in Elk City. She is the daughter of Jessica Kamphaus. She has two older sisters, Karissa and Araiya, and one younger brother, Tycen. Camri is currently a seventh grader at Canute Public School. She enjoys basketball and softball, and hanging out with friends.

4-H members from Burns Flat-Dill City, Canute, Cordell and Sentinel entered 74 poster and photo projects in the annual contest. The Washita County Farm Bureau Women sponsor this event giving each entry $2.
