Despite a hard fought battle, the Blue Devil Football team was unable to pull off a win against the Hobart Bearcats last Friday. The final score was Hobart 43, Cordell 20. According to Head Coach Zane Trammell, the scoreboard wasn’t a direct reflection of the ballgame.

The Burns Flat Dill City senior 4-H club met for their 21-22 organizational meeting September 16th after school. There were nine members and 5 guests present. The 4 new members were introduced. Mrs. Mason, our leader, provided snacks and pizza that was enjoyed by everyone.

Cordell grad Andrea Palmer completes National Guard basic training with honors

Cordell Class of 2021 alum Andrea Palmer graduated from basic combat training on September 10. Palmer was a member of the Bravo 1-19, 1st battalion 19th field artillery, and graduated in the top ten percent of her class.

CENTENARIANS OF OKLAHOMA is proud to honor Lucille Antonelli on the occasion of her 100th birthday and induct her into the Centenarians of Oklahoma Hall of Fame. Lucille attended school in Greenfield, Oklahoma and was a longtime resident of Watonga, Oklahoma.
