After Homecoming activities being scaled down in recent years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cordell students are excited about building floats, participating in Spirit Days, and preparing for the parade and pep assembly that will be held on the downtown square Friday afternoon.

FIRE SAFETY FIELD TRIP TRADITION CONTINUES

Each year the Cordell Fire Department treats children from Cordell Elementary to a fun-filled day during Fire Safety Week. Students learn about fire safety, slide down the fire pole, shoot water from fire hoses, and in recent years, enjoy a hot dog lunch prepared by local firefighters.
