Brance and Braxton Barnett of the Burns Flat Dill City 4-H club spent Saturday, February 11th, at Hydro at the West District Speech Contest and District Volunteer Conference. Braxton placed 2nd with his digital presentation. Brance placed 1st with his PowerPoint presentation.

The Burns Flat-Dill City Sr. 4-H Club had a meeting to prepare for Valentine’s Day. We discussed upcoming county events and made Valentine’s Day cards for the Cordell nursing home.

Now on the 6th day of February 2023, the County Commissioners in and for Washita County met in regular session with Chairman Goeringer calling the meeting to order. Goeringer asked Kristen Dowell, County Clerk, for roll call.

Club News

WILLING WORKERS OF FOSS We met at 11:30 on December 6, 2022 at Sherry Hall's. We had lunch and visited. We didn't have much of a meeting. There was no old business to cover. New business was about sending donations to 4-H clubs in the area. We all agreed to send $150.

The last full week of January was a busy one for the Burns Flat-Dill City 4-H club. The first event of the week was the county Share The Fun that was held in Burns Flat at the high school, the members that helped were Joey Mooney, Evie Denny and Kathryn Sirmon.
