Would you like to help save a life? There will be an Oklahoma Blood Institute blood drive in the Family Life Center at the First Baptist Church from noon until six p.m. on Thursday April 27th. Save a life by giving blood! Remember that the Scouts and Cub Scouts meet every Monday at 6:30 p.m.

At the council meeting on Monday night the new Mayor Phil Kliewer and five council people along with the City Clerk took the oath of office. A new group to be in control of our beautiful town! Let’s all do our part and back them 100% and take an interest in what is going on.

The City Elections are over and on Monday night April 17th at 6:00 p.m. the new Mayor and Council Members will take the oath of office. Be a part of the action! Come to the meetings. The Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce Saturday at the park was a huge success! Lots of fun!

The first thing I would like to do this week is congratulate the Cordell Band! You make our town proud!! If you missed the play at the Opera House last weekend, it was so much fun! The City Election is over and starting April 17th there will be a different group running the city. Support them!

Just a reminder that the Community Easter Cantata will be Sunday at the Bible M.D. Church at 5:00 p.m. (Bring snacks!) Also, Sunday April 2nd the Cloud Chief yearly Fire Department fundraiser dinner will be held at the Washita County Activity Center from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

WILLING WORKERS Feb. 2, 2023 - We met at Oma June Pitzer's home at 11:00. Glenna Rose was host. We had lunch and visited. Amber called meeting to order at 11:50. We started wit the Flag Salute and recited the County creed. Sherry Hall gave devotional: Hebrews 13:5-6.
