The night of January 14 th was very exciting for seven Washita County 4-H members. Two members from the Burns Flat-Dill City Sr. 4-H Club were in attendance for this year’s Annual 4-H Winter Formal which benefits the Children’s Hospital.

The members of the Burns Flat-Dill City Sr. 4-H club participated in one of our largest community service projects. The members went shopping, we had to use our resources wisely to get the most products.

DILL WORK AND PLAY OHCE

The Dill Work and Play OHCE met December 13, 2022, at 1:30 in the home of Jane Shull. The meeting started with a table full of snacks. Each member brought a snack or two and it turned into a feast. After about an hour of eating and visiting the group exchanged Christmas gifts. It was all fun.

WASHITA COUNTY FARM BUREAU

The Washita County Farm Bureau met December 8, 2022, at 6:00 pm in the FB office in Cordell. A meal was furnished by FB, made by From Scratch in Cordell. The meeting was opened with a prayer. After the meal the women convened to open the Women's Committee meeting.

Burns Flat Dill City Senior 4-H Club has been busy blessing others for the holiday season. Members metat various times to finish up many of the projects that had been started throughout the year. Over 150 nursing home residents were blessed with a cupcake made from a pair of socks and a chapstick.

Saturday December 10 th was an exciting time at the Washita County activity center in Cordell. The 4-H event of that day was the annual Washita County 4-H Jr. Roundup. There a variety of workshops available to the event attendees, most of whom were cloverbuds and Jr. 4-H members.
