Early Voting for April Board of Education General Election starts Thursday

Early voting for the April General Election begins Thursday, March 28th, 2024 for voters in Washita County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day have the option of voting early at their County Election Board. Cordell Public Schools has two Board of Education seat races on the ballot. The unexpired term of Board Member Office No. 3 has two candidates, Parker Christian and Cole Gregg, and Board Member Office No. 4 sees incumbent Levi Jones versus Danielle Dick Ivey.

This public service notifies subscribers, by email, of deeds, mortgages, liens, and any other land documents filed as official records in the County Clerk’s office. Filings may be monitored by name and/or legal description.

It’s German Feast time again!

The public is invited to Clinton, Oklahoma for Corn Bible Academy’s 60th annual German Feast and Auction on Saturday, April 6, 2024. This will be the second feast at the school’s new 40 acre campus in Clinton after operating in the town of Corn since 1903. The event will take place at 22387 E 1070 Road in Clinton from 10am until 2:30pm.

Deadline is approaching for Voter party changes

Oklahomans who want to change their party affiliation must submit their change no later than March 31, Washita County Election Board Secretary Assistant Ashton Hymer said today. Voters may change their party affiliation online using the OK Voter Portal at oklahoma.gov/elections/ovp or by completing a new Voter Registration Application.
