Can you tell us a bit about yourself, i.e., age, job, hometown, family, hobbies, etc.? My name is Levi Jones. I am a 2002 graduate of Cordell Schools. My wife Tesa is a 2006 graduate of Cordell Schools We have two children Emerson age seven and Oran age five.

SWOSU Hosting World Languages event April 6-7

The 4th Annual World Languages Week will be celebrated at Southwestern Oklahoma State University on April 6-7. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the event will be held virtually through Zoom. On Tuesday, April 6, at 3 p.m., participants will take a virtual trip to Taiwan and Greece.

County Covid Update

Washita County’s number of new positive COVID-19 cases is barely up over two weeks ago, figures from the Oklahoma State Department of Health show. The total number testing positive in the county is now 1,064. It was 1,061 two weeks ago, an increase of only three.

Blood Drive at SWOSU

The Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) will conduct a blood drive at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford on Monday and Tuesday, April 5-6, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The “Rise Up & Give” blood drive will be held at the SWOSU Wellness Center.
