May 10 - 14 was National Hospital Week and the Cordell Memorial Hospital had fun celebrating.
They started the week on on Monday with a “Chip! Chip! Hooray!” and chocolate chip cookies for all the hard work the CMH staff does each and every day.
New hospital administrator Melinda Laird provided lunch for everyone and food and laughter proved to be a great combination.
The CMH leadership team also spent an afternoon showing a little pride in the hospital by overhauling flowerbeds, trimming trees, and planting rose bushes.
Friends, family and staff joined together on the project and showed that CMH is truly a ‘family’.
Carter Healthcare surprised everyone with a basket of goodies and the week was wrapped up with a meal of hamburger, hotdogs, and all the trimmings brought by Corn Heritage Village.
Staff at CMH enjoyed celebrating Hospital Week but more importantly they are proud to be serving our community and the surrounding areas.
