There are some exciting additions coming this year to the Washita County Free Fair. Mark your calendars for an amazing three-day event packed with fun, food, and festivities.
An outdoor vendor market will be available during the Fair on the grounds of the Washita County Activity Center. The market will be open on Thursday, Aug. 24th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 25th from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 26th from 9 a.m. to noon.
Those interested in participating as a vendor should know that you don’t have to commit to the entire duration. Whether you want to be a part of this fantastic fair for a day or join for all three, there are flexible options that can fit every schedule. Vendor spaces are absolutely free. If your booth requires electricity, you should act fast because those spaces are limited.
The outdoor market is also an ideal place for businesses to promote and display their products such as lawn equipment, tractors, vehicles, or any other items you want to show off.
Churches or civic groups can host booths with games or activities for kids. This is a great way to reach out to the community.

Girls from age newborn to 18 can participate in the pageant, as long as they are either a Washita County resident or a student in a Washita County school. Dress requirement is modest formal.
There will be six categories consisting of ages 0-2 years (Tiny Miss), 3-5 years (Mini Miss), 6-8 years (Little Miss), 9-11 years (Junior Miss), 12-14 years (Teen Miss), and 15-19 years (Miss).
