Washita Co. Commissioners minutes

Now on the 9th day of December 2024, the County Commissioners in and for Washita County met in regular session with Chairman Goeringer calling the meeting to order.

Chairman Goeringer asked Kristen Dowell, County Clerk, for roll call. Roll call was answered by Gossen, present; Goeringer, present; Chandler, present.

The Board reviewed the minutes of the previous regular meeting. Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the minutes as presented. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to sign the report of fees collected in the month of November for the following offices: Assessor, Election Board, County Commissioners, Treasurer, Court Clerk, and County Clerk. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the allocation of alcoholic beverage tax collections for the month of November to be distributed to the cities and towns within Washita County as follows: Bessie - $394.85, Burns Flat - $4,226.18, Canute - $1,071.73, Colony - $242.98, Cordell - $6,020.36, Corn - $1,284.34, Dill City - $911.19, Foss - $219.12, Rocky - $277.69, and Sentinel - $1,655.33. Kenneth Trent, Emergency Manager, provided an update on the status of the preparation of the Hazard Mitigation Plan for Washita County. No action was taken.
