Washita Co. Commissioners minutes

Now on the 27th day of November 2023, the County Commissioners in and for Washita County met in regular session with Chairman Goeringer calling the meeting to order.

Chairman Goeringer asked Kristen Dowell, County Clerk, for roll call. Roll call was answered by Gossen, present; Goeringer, present; Chandler, present.

The Board reviewed the minutes of the previous regular meeting. Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the minutes as presented. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the blanket purchase orders as filed in the County Clerk’s Office. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Chandler seconded by Gossen to approve the holiday closings for 2024. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Chandler seconded by Gossen to approve the board meeting dates for 2024. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the Transfer of Funds from REAP to Resale in the amount of $75,000 for a repayment of the interfund loan transfer made to fund the REAP grant received by Washita County rural Water. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the Transfer of Funds from Highway (District 3) to FEMA Safe Room Grant in the amount of $13,110 to fund the reimbursements to the recipients of a safe room grant on draw #8 until FEMA sends reimbursement to the County. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.

Motion made by Gossen seconded by Chandler to approve the Transfer of Funds from Drug Court to Drug Court Trust & Agency in the amount of $17,216.75 to close out the residual balance of the drug court fund. Gossen, yes; Goeringer, yes; Chandler, yes.
