Cordell’s most festive event is mere hours away to bring holiday cheer, shopping, and family fun! Christmas on the Square, hosted by the Cordell Chamber of Commerce, will take place tomorrow, Thursday, December 5th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in downtown Cordell.
Whether you’re hunting for unique gifts or simply soaking in the holiday spirit, downtown Cordell will transform into a festive marketplace. Vendors along Market Street will showcase everything from cozy clothing and beautiful decor to one-of-a-kind jewelry and homemade baked treats.
Kids will love the business fair in the Pocket Park, where young entrepreneurs will proudly display and sell their creations. At 5:30 p.m., Santa Claus himself will arrive to hear Christmas wishes, take photos, and light the official Christmas tree in the Pocket Park.
For an extra touch of magic, hop into a horse-drawn carriage for a 15-minute ride around the beautifully decorated Square. Ticket prices have now changed to $5 per person!
Bring your appetite! Food trucks will offer delicious meals, while classic holiday treats like hot chocolate and s’mores will keep everyone cozy. For even more fun, enjoy face painting for kids of all ages and join in the cookie contest by bringing your best cookies and recipe to compete for the title of most festive holiday cookie!
The Washita Theatre will show Moana 2, inviting families to relax and enjoy this animated adventure. Listen for live announcements of drawing winners throughout the evening—you must be present to claim your prize!
Join the Cordell community tomorrow for an evening of laughter, warmth, and the season’s true spirit. Gather your loved ones and bundle up; we’ll see you at the Christmas on the Square holiday event!
