County Crash
A Sentinel man was injured Tuesday, June 9, evening in a single-vehicle accident west of Sentinel, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at approximately 8:52 p.m. on State Highway 55 near County Road 2130, about onehalf mile west of Sentinel.
Troopers reported that Nicholas Rodriguez, 21, was traveling eastbound on SH-55 when his vehicle left the roadway on the right side and struck a barbed-wire fence.
Rodriguez sustained injuries in the crash and was the vehicle’s sole occupant. Information regarding the severity of his injuries was not immediately available.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that seat belts were not being used at the time of the collision.
The incident remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
