The Cordell Summer League is stepping up to the plate with a special event to support the Cordell Little League. On Saturday, July 25, the community is invited to participate in a Co-Ed Softball Tournament at the Gregory Park Sports Complex in Cordell. The tournament action gets underway at 9:00 a.m.
This double-elimination tournament is open to co-ed teams, with each team required to have at least three girls on the roster. The entry fee is $25 per person, making it a great opportunity for teams to enjoy friendly competition while supporting a good cause.
In addition to the tournament, a Home Run Derby will be held for those wanting to test their power at the plate. Entry to the derby is $20, and home run wristbands are also available for $20 each.
Funds raised from the tournament and home run events will support the Cordell Little League.
