Come out and support the Cordell Lions Club this Saturday, May 21, at the 13th Annual Lions Club Golf Tournament. You will enjoy an un-fore-gettable day of golf on the greens.
The tournament will take place at Crooked Creek Golf Course in Cordell. Registration begins at 8 a.m. followed by tee-off at 9. The cost is $240 a team with mulligans included.
This is the main fundraiser for the Lions Club. All proceeds from the tournament help the Lions Club provide scholarships to high school seniors, purchase eyeglasses for those in need and allows them to maintain the upkeep of the beautiful playground at Lee Park.
Adding to the excitement of the tournament, pulled pork BBQ sandwiches will be provided for lunch by From Scratch-making for a tee-rific day.
“Hopefully we have nice weather and a good turnout,” said MaCrae Brunker Lions Club President.
“It’s four-man teams, so I’m hoping at least 10 to 12 teams participate,” he continued.
