Greyson Selman is DAR Good Citizen

Cordell High School senior Greyson Selman has been honored as the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen for the 2024-2025 school year. This prestigious recognition is awarded to students who exemplify dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their daily lives—at home, in school, and within their communities. Selected by her teachers and peers, Greyson stood out for consistently demonstrating these values.

Sponsored by the Washita Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), the DAR Good Citizen Program aims to annually encourage and recognize good citizenship in students across 20 area high schools. Greyson’s selection highlights her commitment to making a positive impact and her dedication to serving others, qualities the DAR strives to celebrate in young leaders. Through this program, the DAR continues its long-standing tradition of promoting civic responsibility and honoring exceptional young individuals.
