Cordell’s Christmas in the Park will be on December 7th at 6 p.m. The chamber of Commerce will present a HO HO HO Contest judged by Santa himself. Come join the fun! Oh, I almost forgot to say that Santa will be there to visit with the children.
The Christmas Cantata presented each year by the Ministerial Alliance will be held on Sunday Deember 10th at the First Baptist Church at 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to this wonderful program.
There is going to be a community theater play on December 15th, 16th and 17th at the Opera House in Cordell. The name of the play is “A Baby Changes Everuthing” and it will be at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Don’t forget to help others in need if you are able to do so. There is an angel tree located at both Iron Fitness and at the Cordell Hospital. You can choose a child’s name from the tree and purchase a gift for them and return it back to the angel tree location.
Remember Jesus is the Reason for the Season! We celebrate Christmas with lots of fun things, Santa, and parties- but we need to keep in mind that He is to be honored above all and his birth changed the world.
