The Dill Work and Play OHCE met December 10, 2024 in the home of Jane Shull.
The Meeting started with brunch at 11:00AM and each attending furnished a dish to complete a delicious meal.
Jane Shull called the meeting to order with appreciation of each person attending.
Roll was called to order with “Name something from your childhood about Christmas.” The roll call included happy memories and a wonderful exchange of the past. Four members and two guests were present.
Sue Huddleson led the group in the Flag Salute. Anna Prickett led the song “Joy to the World,” and gave the treasurer’s report. Anna Prickett also collected money for projects.
Lowayne Piercey gave a Thought of the Day, Kind Words, and read the minutes from the November meeting.
Lowayne Piercey gave a 4-H report: The BF/ DC 4-H group made Christmas Cards for the VA Center in Clinton and collected five boxes and two sacks of toiletries for the VA Center.
Anna Prickett showed pictures from the past. Lowayne Piercey showed her ring, the Northern Star which she got in Alaska. Sue Huddleson showed a My Kids Love Me Neckless with kids and grandkids for cultural arts.
Jane Shull gave a door prize which was won by Sue Huddleson.
The lesson was a Christmas Party with visitation and exchange of gifts. Lowayne Piercey was elected Heart of OHCE for 2024.
Motion was made by Wilma Gathright to dismiss.

The Dill Work & Play dismissed to travel to the Washita County OHCE Council Meeting held at the Extension office which started at 2:00 P.M The Council started with a welcome from Lowayne Piercey. The Flag Salute and Thought of the Day was performed by Brenda Bonham.
Roll Call & Minutes were from Becky Sander- Stewart. Treasurer’s Report was from Jane Shull.
Business was conducted by Kristy Spalding and Lowayne Piercey.
