DHS provides in-person access point in Cordell

After the Oklahoma Department of Human Services closed their office in Cordell, many patrons faced the difficulty of getting to Clinton to speak with someone face-to-face to apply for services or to get assistance with their current cases.

For the past several months, Cordell Memorial Hospital has been providing space for DHS to allow their representative to come on the third Friday of every month and offer in-person help to clients using DHS services or wishing to apply for services such as SNAP, child care, and medical.

While they cannot issue EBT cards at the Cordell Access Point, you can still speak to the representative about your case or apply for SNAP benefits.

This Friday, February 17th is the third Friday in February and the OKDHS representative will be available from 8 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.. (Closed for lunch from 12 - 1 pm) at Cordell Memorial Hospital at 1220 N. Glenn English in Cordell.
