Students of the Danielle Shaw Piano Studio recently completed two recitals, marking the conclusion of the current musical term.
The first event took place on Sunday, June 7, at the Corn Heritage Village. Following the musical program, students gathered at The Corn Patch for a scheduled social event.
A second recital was held on Saturday, June 13, at the Cordell MB Church, followed by a party for students at the Cordell public pool.
“These recitals provided students the opportunity to demonstrate their progress in a formal setting,” stated Danielle Shaw. “I am pleased with the level of preparation they showed for both performances. It was important to offer the students an opportunity to socialize and celebrate their hard work outside of the studio environment.”
Shaw extended her gratitude to those who facilitated the events. “I would like to offer special thanks to the staff and residents of the Corn Heritage Village and the leadership of the Cordell MB Church for providing their facilities. Additionally, I appreciate the assistance of the Cordell Public Pool staff in hosting our closing event. Finally, I thank the students and their families for their continued support of the studio.”
