Holiday shopping is right around the corner! The Christmas Bazaar will be held in the Washita County Activity Center on Saturday and Sunday, December 3rd from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and 4th from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Plenty of time to prepare yourself for the merrymaking and vendors that await. Nearly 40 vendors will be available for all your shopping needs with a variety of Christmas gift ideas for loved ones, or yourself, as the holiday fast approaches. Santa is also expected to make a visit!
“Our first year we more than filled the community center and realized quickly that it was not large enough, so we moved to the Washita County Activity Center where we’ve been the last few years,” stated Event Co-founder Candy Rogers. “We wanted to create a venue for people who did not have a storefront and give them a central location where people could get their Christmas shopping done! It’s the first weekend in December each year and that has worked out wonderfully!”
Community members can shop local and support small businesses in a fun and enjoyable environment.
“We have Jennifer Cary from Bean And Ladle in the kitchen serving meals and specialty drinks so people can shop and eat and just come hang out and have a great time. Everything you would expect from a Christmas Bazaar! We will have people there with baked goods, cotton candy, mock-tails and all of your favorite vendors that you look forward to seeing every year,” beamed Rogers.
