September is ending and fall is upon us, that doesn’t seem real with only a slight decrease in temperature with little rain. So we move forward with the focus on the fall events including the great Pumpkin Festival on October 8 th . I encourage you to come and see the wonderful Canstruction sculptures that will be built by several of the local businesses. Remembering that all the can food will be givento our local food bank.

CMH will be providing education at CMH on October 11 at 6:00pm. There will be information for you about Advance Directives and DNR. Cherrie Nutley who is our local Ombudsman Rep has a wealth of knowledge on Advance Directives to share with you. These are important no matter your age and it’s important to share with your family.

I want to encourage you to participate in a health and community resource survey. Researchers at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center would love your feedback to help us better serve you.
