‘Gloria: The Wonders of His Love’ is the title of this year’s Christmas Cantata that will be performed at Cordell’s First Baptist Church on Sunday evening, December 8th at 5:00 p.m.
The musical was arranged and orchestrated by Phil Nitz and showcases popular worship songs of the season, including Phil Wickham’s Manger Throne, Matt Maher’s Go Tell It (Gloria), and Elevation Worship’s Worthy and Wonderful/ Worthy of Worship, while intertwining medleys of beloved carols such as Joy to the World, Away in a Manger, The First Noel, and Infant Holy, Infant Lowly.
‘Gloria’ will be directed by Rod Maynard and features beautiful voices from seven area churches. Everyone is invited to come celebrate the birth of Jesus.
