Cordell Chamber Banquet set for March 20th

Cordell Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet is scheduled for March 20th at 6:00 p.m. This year’s theme is ‘Spring Into Action’ and the program will be focused on marketing for small businesses.

Hillary Banks Self will be the guest speaker. She graduated from Oklahoma University with a degree in Marketing and is an expert on helping small businesses market their products and services on a budget by strategically utilizing available resources.

Chamber member Three T’s Bar & Grill will provide a delicious meal. Tickets are $10 per person. Each person purchasing a meal ticket will be entered into a drawing for a Grand Prize Giveaway basket. (One entry per plate purchased.)

The basket will include many items from various businesses and individuals such as merchandise, gift cards, gift certificates, and more. The value of the basket is expected to reach several hundred dollars.

Awards to be presented during the banquet include Cordell Beacon’s Person of the Year, Chamber Business of the Year, and the Servant’s Heart award.

Chamber Board Vice President Misti Fields encourages everyone in the community to come out and have a good time.

“You do not have to be a business or a Chamber member to attend the banquet. It is open to everyone. Please come out and enjoy an evening of networking, socializing, and fun,” Fields said.

Please contact Sarah Lau at the Chamber office to reserve tables or purchase individual tickets. The telephone number is 580-832-3538 and the office is located at 114 N. Market Street.
