Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I am the president of my senior class and also president of BPA (Business Professionals of America). I have a sister who [five in a half] years older than me and her name is Kaylee. I love watching Friends and anything Disney related! I also love to bake and complete jigsaw puzzles.

How has your school year been so far?

It’s been great! It has gone by so fast and the fact that I graduate in three months is crazy.

What have been some of your favorite memories from during your time in school?

Prom and being with my friends! I went to prom for the first time last year and it was more than I could’ve ever imagined! I tend to have a very introverted personality, but dancing with and singing all night with my friends, will definitely be a night I will never forget! My friends and I always make sure we go to lunch everyday with each other especially since we are graduating in a few months. Although we may have a short time at lunch, we always make special memories that I’ll always remember.

What has been your favorite part of school and why?

Yearbook! I have been in yearbook since my sophomore year and I have enjoyed it since day one. Being able to have my creativeness come to light in our book, makes me happy. This book is something that all of us high schoolers, especially seniors like me, will be able to look back on all of our memories that we created. I also love Homecoming Spirit Week! Since I am in Student Council, I get to help decide the dress up days that we may or may not be able to use, and some of them are so fun!

Are you in any sports, clubs, or other extracurricular activities?

I am in Yearbook, Student Council, Business Professionals of America, and Gifted and Talented.

What are you most excited for this school year?

Prom and graduation! I loved going to prom last year and making the most amazing memories with my best friends makes me so excited to go this year! And obviously graduation because I am excited to take on the next chapter in my life.

Who are your parents?

David and Shara Garmon

What is it that motivates you to do well in class?

I still have a chance of being salutatorian of my senior class. Since freshman year, my goal was to be valedictorian, but junior year I ended up getting one B. Even though I received one, I still had a mind set to try as hard as I could to end up being salutatorian. The fact that I possibly have a chance, makes me want to try 110% at all my school work that I receive.

What do you do when you’re not in school? Do you have any hobbies?

When I am not in school I am usually working at Slice 183. I had the most amazing privilege of becoming a manager back in October! I love hanging out with my friends (Renee, Kenlee, McKenna and Shelby) as much as I can before heading off to college.

What are your plans looking like for after you graduate? What type of career do you want to try and pursue?

I plan to move to Weatherford either soon after I graduate or sometime this summer. When fall comes, I will be attending SWOSU to major in Radiologic Technology.
