The time is here to grab your cowbells and mums, throw on your Cordell Blue Devil gear, and get loud! Fans can show their spirit at the annual Homecoming Parade at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 22. The parade will start at Lee Park and go around the Courthouse Square and back.
Blue Devil fans can line the streets and square as the homecoming court, the Pride of Cordell Band, elementary, junior high, and high school students, and community members show their spirit on their way to the Courthouse lawn.
Cordell’s 2023 Homecoming Royalty candidates are seniors Alex Kennedy and Kaitlyn Babek, juniors Dayton Bartlett and Grayson Selman, and sophomores Samuel Lindsey and Birdie Brown.
Homecoming Queen’s crowning will occur before the game at 6:00 at Blue Devil Stadium.
Cordell High School Football Homecoming will kick off against the Empire Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.
Cordell Band is hosting a spaghetti supper fundraiser; all proceeds go to the band. Tickets are $10 and are available from band members and at the door. Dine in or get it to go at the Cordell High School cafeteria before Friday’s Homecoming game. The spaghetti supper will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
