During the regular meeting of the Cordell Public Schools Board of Education on April 11th, resignations were accepted from Rachel Ray, Vickie Hull, Ashley Griffith, and Nathan Nichols. Retirements of Bobby Ogle and Paul Pankhurst were accepted.
The Board voted unanimously to employ the following new personnel for the 2023-2024 school year: Anna Makuch, Junior High Science teacher; Jill Dages, Junior High English teacher; Julie Horn, High School English teacher; James Barnett, Secondary Art teacher, Jordan Dages, High School Social Studies teacher; Regan Hill, Third Grade teacher; Ashton Odom, Secondary Math teacher; Jessica Pierce, Elementary Principal; Danny Clifton, Secondary Principal; and Mitchell Vazquez, Ag Science/FFA teacher.
The Board also entered into a contract with David Garmon to provide summer Driver’s Education classes.
