The Cordell Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of its new board members for the 2024 year, marking a significant step towards enhancing community engagement and fostering growth in Cordell.
The new Chamber President is Jeremy Goodson of Gatlin’s Garage. With previous experience serving on the Chamber board, Goodson brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for community development. He is dedicated to leading the Chamber into a prosperous new year.
Chamber Vice President will be Averie Ball. Ball, owner of Ave & Co., is enthusiastic about injecting vibrant and enjoyable activities into Cordell, creating an environment where the community can thrive.
Treasurer will be Natasha Rheaume of Positive Beginnings. Her excitement and commitment to the community will be instrumental in ensuring the financial success of the Chamber.
Other new Board Members are Carrie Horn, owner of Horn Family Farm & Boutique and Gail Wilcox, Administrator of Cordell Nursing & Rehab. Their diverse backgrounds will contribute to the Chamber’s efforts to enhance the community.
The new board convened for its inaugural meeting on Monday, January 8th, where they outlined their vision for the year. Discussions centered around fostering community growth, organizing engaging events, and the upcoming highlight - the Eggstravaganza Fair & Fun Day scheduled for March 30th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In an additional announcement, the Chamber office has relocated to the historic Washita Theater at 111 S. Market St, Cordell, OK.
