Cornelius H (C H) Dalke Jr., 92, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away suddenly on September 10th, 2020 at the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma. He was born on January 7th, 1928 to Cornelius H and

Matilda (Hinz) Dalke in Washita County. C H grew up and Attended school in Corn, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life, June Molen on October 10, 1948 in Cordell, Oklahoma, she preceded him in death on May 31, 2013. C H and June had two daughters, Cynthia and Melinda. He was a member of the Herold Mennonite Church. C H spent his working life farming and he was also the City of Cordell Dog Catcher till he was into his 80’s. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include: Daughter: Cynthia Gavigan, 6 Grandchildren: 11 Great Grandchildren: 1 Great ~ Great Grandchild, and a host of dear nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by his Parents: Cornelius H and Matilda (Hinz) Dalke; Wife: June (Molen) Dalke and Daughter: Melinda Sue Payton. Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2020, Herold Mennonite Cemetery, Bessie, Oklahoma. Interment: Herold Mennonite Cemetery, Bessie, Oklahoma. Visitation: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 14, 2020 and 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2020, Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell.
