The Cordell Public Pool made a big splash on its opening day, Monday, May 26th, in celebration of Memorial Day! While this was the only Monday the pool would be open this season, it marked the perfect kickoff to a season full of fun and swimming.

Twenty-six Washita County 4-Hers recently participated in the annual 4-H Cupcake Wars Contest on May 20 th, 2025. Individual 4-Hers decorate 3 cupcakes in 30 minutes to be judged.Outstanding Cloverbuds include Beniah Miller and Raley Everett.

Plans being made for Cowden School Reunion

It is time to make plans to attend the Cowden School Reunion scheduled for Saturday July 12th 2025. All former Cowden school students, graduates or their families, teachers, class parents, members of the Board of Education and spouses are invited to attend.
