Now on the 14th day of October 2025, the County Commissioners in and for Washita County met in regular session with Vice-Chairman Chandler calling the meeting to order. Vice-Chairman Chandler asked Kristen Dowell, County Clerk, for roll call.

Washita Chapter NSDAR monthly meeting report

September 8, 2025 the Washita Chapter held the first meeting of their new year at the Café Clinton. The meeting was opened with the Vice-Regent Marci Grant leading the NSDAR opening ritual, assisting her was the Chaplain, Robetha Fariss.

BARN QUILT WORKSHOP

Washita County OSU Extension is hosting a Barn Quilt Workshop on Thursday, November 13th from 9:30am-3:00pm at the Washita County Activity Center, 1005 East 3rd Street, Cordell. A $25 registration fee includes all supplies, snacks and light lunch.
